2025 Conducting Workshop at Illinois Music Educator ConferenceThe Illinois Council of Orchestras is pleased to work in partnership with IMEC and offer a conducting workshop on January 31, 8:30am at the IMEC Conference in Peoria IL. This workshop will feature the St. Charles North Chamber Orchestra and be coached by Michael Mishra, Director of Orchestral Studies at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and Allen Tinkham, Music Director of Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. Fill out the form to apply to conduct and be coached during this workshop and indicate your preference for works you wish to conduct if you are selected to participate.
The deadline to apply is Friday, January 3, 2025, 5:00pm.
All applicants will receive a notification from the ICO in January 2025.
